The Puerto

The “PUERTO” is a direct result of good surfers demanding shortboard performance out of their StepUp when the waves are pumping and it’s designed for surfers who want to take their good wave surfing and barrel riding to the next level.

The thickness is forward and these boards catch waves effortlessly, which critically, in bigger waves, ensures a good, early line. Then, once flying down the line, the tail and rails are thinned out to help hold through turns at speed and when driving in the barrel.

A deep single concave with a slight double, runs through the entire bottom, which gives lift and speed both on a rail and over flat sections while allowing for easy rail-to-rail transitions. The “PUERTO’s” combination of concave and rocker is where its secret lies, giving you a high-performance board that has speed, sensitivity, and control when you need it.

It surfs loose, like a shortboard, but has the extra paddle-power and hold you need in solid surf, which equates to a board which paddles like it’s a 6 inches longer while turning like its 6 inches shorter.

A go-to board when the waves at your local beach start getting serious or a magic StepUp on your travels, when you need the optimum equipment for those special days of the year.

Available from 6’0 to 7’0 and standard with a 5-fin option to be used as a Thruster or Quad, depending on the conditions, to maximize versatility.
